We normally deliver (weather permitting) display barns within 1 to 2 weeks and custom orders in 3 to 4 weeks. During busy times, due to the number of sheds being ordered, custom orders may take longer. You will be contacted by our delivery staff to schedule a date and time for delivery.

On custom orders, or stock inventory from our home lot, Delivery and set-up is FREE within 30 miles of the nearest dealer. On models sold off of a dealers lot, delivery and set-up is FREE within 30 miles of the lot where the shed was located when it was sold. FREE delivery covers one trip up to 30 miles away. Anything beyond 30 miles is charged as follows:
6’ wide, 8’ wide and 10’ wide buildings; $3.00 per loaded mile.
12’ wide and 14’ wide buildings; $4.50 per loaded mile.
Deliveries over 100 miles or out of state call for quote.

Free set-up includes leveling with customer supplied blocks. We only block from the ground up. Starting at the highest ground level support point, we then level the building up to a maximum of 2’ high at any given support (leveling) block point. If customer does not supply leveling blocks, they can purchase cement leveling blocks from the delivery driver for $3.00 each plus tax. FREE set-up includes 1 hour of time after arrival at the site. After the first hour you may be charged an additional $35 per hour/per man.

This is a great question and one that you should address when purchasing your shed. There are 3 main things to consider:

A) How much does my yard slope in the area where my shed will be located?
B) What is the size of the building I am purchasing?
C) What will I be using the building for? The bigger the equipment and the heavier the load, the more jarring, vibration, and settling your shed will need to handle. Taking these things in to consideration, there are then 3 options we call good, better, best. At each step you will be providing better overall support and a more stable foundation that will keep your shed level, lasting longer, and performing better.

Good: That’s what is included in the FREE set-up described above and is the limitation of what we will do. Anything beyond us leveling with blocks, is up to you to provide.

Better: A level gravel pad. We recommend this for any shed and highly encourage it for buildings larger than 10’x16’. Is this a must? No, but when you get to a shed of this size it will generally be handling quite a bit of use. By placing it on a level pad, you provide support throughout the entire length of the building not just in the spots where the leveling blocks hold it up off the ground. You also provide for good drainage and space for air to properly circulate under the building.

Best: A concrete pad. Does all the things of a gravel pad but better. Gravel can migrate or wash away from the building. Concrete will not. We strongly recommend a concrete pad when using the building to store heavy items like a car, tractor, or boat.

Spring Valley Sheds LLC, Hillside Sheds LLC, and their associates are not liable or responsible for permits, covenant searches, restrictions, setbacks, yard damage, driveway damage, or damage to underground structures or utilities.

** It is up to the customer to determine if the yard is in suitable condition to deliver and set up their building. If blocking is required to level the shed, the customer is aware we start blocking at the top of the ground and will only block to a maximum height of 2 feet.

** The customer is responsible to be advised and aware of any covenants and/or local building codes pertaining to permits, site preparation, and placement, of their building.

** If it is necessary to cross property lines to deliver and/or set up the shed, the customer must have permission to do so prior to delivery. The customer accepts full responsibility for any damage that may occur to the property or properties during the delivery and set-up process.

** Customer needs to make sure there is ample room to deliver their building. This means there must be 14’ of unobstructed head room and the pathway needs to be at least 2’ wider, at it’s narrowest point, than the width of the building.

** Customer must be certain the site is accessible and able to be traversed by our delivery equipment. This means steep hills, deep valleys, rugged terrain, sharp turns, fences, overhead wiring, and other obstructions or conditions must be considered. If there is any doubt, it would be best to have the site inspected by a representative of Spring Valley Sheds prior to attempting delivery. If we have to return to the shop because the site was inaccessible, additional transportation cost will be charged.
